Hey I live in Conroe,Texas there is a famous street racing scene that is called Rankin Road, They have been racing there for at least 30 years. The guy I bought my 94 Camaro from is in college and his dad raced his 69 Mustang at Rankin when it was new. I have not been there but I have kids that have, They tell me that there are two lines one from the east one from the west ready to go down the street, i have talked to others that said that people trailer their cars down there to race. I still am not going cause the kids were there with a video camera and they showed how they were hiding in the woods as the police were arresting everyone they could catch. But we do have a good 1/8 mile track on the north side HMP. In baytown to the east we have a first class 1/4 mile track a 1/8 mile track out west in Sealy and one to the south Angleton. the penalities for street racing in Texas makes these tracks look pretty attractive. The Ricers race up and down Westheimer.
