I know exactly what your talking about. i ran into some very very very good deals on ebay and met some cool people in the process. Im sitting on about two complete interiors. Also thanks to B-rad I have pretty much everything i need to complete the restoration except for drivetrain and a fender and hood.

Indeed the weatherstripping is so critical on our cars. So many points where water can leak and get trapped on the inside, thats what helps the floorpans to rust out. Thankfully i managed to get one that is pretty clean.

Definitely like to keep in touch about our restos, im sure we can share a lot of advice on putting them back together.
