I think that when people start modding their cars they forget what their intentions/goals are. bcuz once you do headers, u want a cam, then with a cam you could use a nice fresh set of heads. so now your talkin major $ but ur also talkin haulin ass. its hard to setup one car to suit everyones needs, but if i was to be pikn out the parts i would start with an LS1. agressive cam, stock heads, intake, TB, LT's, Yank36OO, tune, lca's, torque arm, and sum kind of rear end. either beef up the glass 7.5 or 12-bolt.

You share my philosophy on modifications. I never want to comprimise drivability. I don't want a drag car that needs to be trailered to the track and only runs on race gas. This car is going to drive to all shows to demonstrate Katech's durability. This car already has heads/cam/intake/headers/exhaust. We will be removing this powerplant. Generically speaking, what powerplant is everybody interested in? Budget is not really much of an issue. We have allotted a significant amount of money for the powerplant and we do it at our cost.
