Note: I would not try to take a 289 to a 351, it just seems like you would be boring too much over to achieve that kind of displacement.

Yeah, from what I've heard, stroking it to a 347 is about as far as you can go. You CAN stroke it to a 351, but I really don't feel like replacing parts every weekend. I dunno, I want this thing to sound nasty too, so I'm thinking of going with a gear drive timing set and a set of dual flowmasters with dumps right before the quarter panels.
**Also, does anyone know anything about like the Auburn Gears or anything like that? The reason I ask is because if I burnout, only the one tire spins, and I want them to be locked like my cobra so that if I stomp on it, BOTH tires will spin. Just wanted to know the easiest and least expensive way to accomplish this.
